Bayt 7 presents a culinary experience visitors will be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. The house is dedicated to Antica Australis, a food pop-up by Australian chef couple Paolo and Kelly Picarazzi. In Australia, they fuse dishes from Paolo’s home of Ciociaria, Italy, but use seasonal produce. The couple bring that same approach to Ras Al Khaimah. This time, however, they source their ingredients from the farms of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

Italian/Emirati fusion menu by Antica Australis shines at RAKFAF

RAKFAF has hosted the first-ever Middle East culinary journey by Chef Paolo and Kelly Picarazzi from the award-winning Australian restaurant Antica Australis. Inspired by Ras Al Khaimah’s organic farms, and foraged natural flora, the team curated a special four-course Italian-Emirati fusion menu presented at four events during the festival, including a private event for His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

Antica invited to present at 2023 Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival, UAE

Antica Australis has been invited to present as part of the festival program for the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival in the United Arab Emirates in February 2023. The festival is renowned for annually reviving the abandoned and ancient 16th century pearling village of Al Jazeerah Al Hamra in the UAE’s northernmost and most natural emirate.
